Ben Morgan

Ben Morgan was born and grew up in London. He has both a writing and an academic life and has taught English at a number of colleges at Oxford University, where he also studied. He is particularly interested in the relationship between the arts, human rights and suffering, and is currently completing a book on forms of vulnerability in Shakespeare for Princeton University Press. His wider interests also lie in contemporary literature: he has written on the reception of Shakespeare and the classics by modern writers such as J. M. Coetzee and Sylvia Plath, as well as lecturing and designing courses on contemporary film, the visual arts, and the representation of violence. This is his first poetry pamphlet. He lives in Oxford.
